We operate as a dry hire site - allowing you to bring in your own caterers and other suppliers - but also have links with vendors who offer preferential rates for customers of the site.

Kentish Barn
Our beautifully rustic oak-beamed, 18th century Kentish Barn is the ideal blank canvas to create a unique and memorable event for up to 200 guests.

Venue hire FAQ
Can we bring our own caterers?
Absolutely! While we have a list of recommended local partners who know our kitchen well, you are welcome to bring your own caterers. We will just ask for a copy of their public liability insurance in advance.
We have a catering kitchen onsite and can arrange a pre-visit to familiarise them with the venue and facilities.
Is alcohol allowed on site?
Yes, you are welcome to serve alcohol at private events, but if operating a paid bar, a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) will be required.
Is the site accessible?
Lower Grange Farm is a converted farmstead. We've worked to level floors and ensure good connectivity between areas with lifts, ramps and accessible toilet/shower facilities.
